My Journey in Triangle Dice
I am on day twenty-eight of being a part of Triangle Dice. I am holding the position of Scribe. I have two wonderful team mates in this triangle with me, Erin Dissler and Lakiesha Garcia. I have enjoyed very much getting to know these ladies. I am thankful to have such a great team to share this journey with. I remember when I was trying to find a triangle to join, I was very nervous and anxious, I wanted to find the perfect one. I had two triangles to choose from and just something about Triangle Dice felt right. I am very thankful these ladies welcomed me in and have been so supportive. I love the Triangle concept because you need all three sides supporting each other to have a correct triangle and that is truly what I have found in Triangle Dice.
In the beginning, days one thru ten, we spent most of the time getting to know each other. We did this by answering email questions about each other and that was very fun and interesting learning about each other. We chatted with each other thru chat and over the phone as well. I had my first skype experience with these ladies. I had never used it before and they showed me how. We held several conference calls, one with Susan Johnson, my sister. That was very informative. I can say that my favorite part of this whole experience is I have two wonderful new friends and for me friendship is priceless.
Since day ten I have been doing my new hire task and keeping in touch with my Triangle team. We still make sure we chat or talk at least once a week thru a conference call or email. We had a conference call with Randi Cornell and she was very nice and informative as well. She offered excellent advice. I love how during this part of the process, we as a team, are there for each other offering advice and support for the new hire projects. We keep each other encouraged and make sure we have completed the new hire tasks.
In closing, I am now looking forward to doing our creative project together and moving forward to being hired and becoming a part of the Lifebushido family or as they call it, becoming an Ishido! I know one thing I am taking with me from this that I know will last is the friendship I have found in my team and look forward to working and keeping in touch with my new friends.
